Career Center at Transition Office acts as a link between the active separation body and the Navy Operational Support NOSC at the designed transition as smoothly as possible through the streamlining process. Secondary transition can act as a bridge between school programs and adult life opportunities including higher education or education employment independent living conditions and community participation. The objectives of the program are to improve academic skills help students with positive decisions and social skills better pedagogical progress and positive participation Students with the community. Through the use of performance-based teaching methods and materials small class size a modified school day and a structured environment these programs positive growth and development of students promote the second program in both professional and social skills serves Afternoon Refocusing Discipline Program students are placed on long -tem suspension under 365 days or expulsion 365 days or more . Academic and behavioral management programs are led by educated teachers who contribute to a learning environment that prioritizes security security order and structure. This program supports the transition of service members and veterans by allowing them to participate in civil training credentialing training and internship programs starting up to six months prior to separation from military service. The Center has the capacity to service 43 students using a non-traditional academic program offering English Math Social Sciences Science and Vocational Training for a Diploma Tracking Plan. The Middle School Alternative Learning Day program includes seventh and eighth grade students with discipline problems. They are located in classes with a low relationship between student and teacher. In the class students receive lessons in social skills functional and financial mathematics functional literacy and self-expression and determination.
